Do you still get garbage emails from suspect sources?

I just got this email (not even in my SPAM folder) from some ultra-right wing goofballs. It is full of lies and is designed to get poor Republican Grandmas to donate money to a PAC of some kind or another. Some of that money could wind up in Trump's defense funds. I find it interesting that they mentioned the mythical "Deep State" in the first paragraph. Have you heard that term? It means "Conspiracy theorists at large." I am glad I get these emails. They allow me to see how MAGA types try to appeal to their under-educated supporters, and what kinds of disinformation is out there. Do you know people who are literally still Trump supporters? I look forward to getting up to Montana (a "red" state) and discussing politics with my Conservative friends up there. They are Conservative, but smart, and practical, and are done with conspiracy theories and (I think) Trump. I'll be interested to hear which Republicans they're supporting at this point. Probably not Liz Cheney. ----- Fellow Patriot, The Biden Administration has turned us into a banana republic. The indictment of former President Donald Trump is a despicable move done for vulgar political advantage by Joe Biden, Merrick Garland, and the Deep State apparatus that fears and hates Donald Trump and the patriotic Americans he speaks for. But we at America First Legal are vigorously fighting back in multiple ways right now! SUPPORT OUR WORK NOW Remember, earlier this year, America First Legal’s investigation revealed that the Biden White House was involved with the partisan raid of Mar-a-Lago, and that the National Archives (NARA) misled Congress. It appears that the Biden White House and DOJ coordinated to obtain the Trump records and perhaps create a pretext for the law enforcement raid of Trump’s home. America First Legal’s lawsuit against NARA continues to reveal evidence of the Biden family’s extensive use of Joe Biden’s role as Vice President to gain special access and favors for their friends and family during the Obama Administration, and there’s much more to come! With your generous support, the America First Legal Team will continue to aggressively expose the criminal misconduct and weaponization of the FBI, the DOJ, and the entire federal government by radical elements within the Biden Administration! SUPPORT OUR FIGHT NOW > As our America First Legal VP, Gene Hamilton, announced the night of the indictment: “…the Biden Administration’s Department of Justice has completely and totally destroyed any semblance of its impartiality. More than that, it has caused significant societal harm that will unfold for years to come in ways we cannot currently imagine. On the heels of the Durham report—which revealed an unprecedented effort by the DOJ to take down a political opponent—they have once again taken a further step down a road of unparalleled action that appears intended to destroy a political opponent of the ruling regime…” America First Legal will continue to fight hard in court to expose the Deep State conspiracy to control our country. With your critical support, we will be victorious and the Biden Administration will be finally be held accountable for its corruption. Please support us now. DONATE NOW

@TheHorse Practical jokes are usually funny to somebody... I don't see how getting on an email list is funny to anybody.

I still think it may have started as a practical joke.

That’s weird. That sounds like the same email I deleted yesterday that also came into my inbox, and not spam. It may not be the same one, but it sounded like it. No, I do not know of anyone in my circle of family or friends that still support Trump. I don’t even know if my state even has more than a handful left at all.

I look forward to chatting with my Montana friends. Many of them are materialists and Conservatives, but they're not religious zealots or mentally ill.

@TheHorse Well, where's the fun in that?! Heck, I'd be psyched to be in Montana. Oh, get lots of pictures! I can live vicariously through you. I know you've shared pictures of Montana before, but the more, the better. When do you go? I'm happy for you.

@AmbiePam I spend most of my time in the Judith Mountains near Lewistown. Sometimes I go up to Glacier Park.

Well, that junk does have some grains of truth here and there. However, it's still a scam artist looking for money. Like Trump needs money. He's far from in need of money. He still has it to spare.

@TheHorse Well, maybe. But, he didn't get where he is by being stupid. He could be loaded, and isn't sharing. Plus, he has quite the large family, too. Hard to know what's truth or lies at this point.

My email is full of this junk. I delete most of it without reading.I do read a few to be aware of lies they spread. I don’t understand why people fall for it.

That's exactly what I do. I have to figure out who they're targeting and how they target them.

Lol what do you mean, I still get unwanted text messages from all kinds of things. The thing is your email address and phone numbers are open to the public certain sites you sign up for the same with your phone number allows others to also get access to it and send it out. Others are just random luck of the draw with statistics of numbers and letters put together they are bound to hit a real address. I just delete them and pay zero attention to what it is.

Luckily pretty much all my SPAM mail goes in the SPAM folder and I just delete. Sometimes some may pass through and I put a block on those,

There are people around here with Trump signs and flags. Some of them have Trump for 2024 signs. I wish they'd give it up.
