16 June - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. I had two naps.
I'm thankful for friends. One of the women I send my Bible study to in the morning and is in the exercise class offered me her computer. She doesn't use it. It's older, 2013. It is Windows 10 which is what my computer was. I just came from her apartment after looking at it and told her I would gladly take her up on her offer. She's going to charge it up tonight and scrub it clean back to factory settings. Then I should have it tomorrow. It's a Gateway. She's giving me the keyboard, monitor, mouse, and speakers. The whole thing. What a blessing she is.
I'm thankful for the two naps I got this morning. I was up at midnight to verify that the computer was dead and not the monitor as I hoped. The first was from 2:30 - 4, and the other from 9:30 - 10:30. So, I got all my sleep for the day.
I'm thankful for the exercise class. While they watched the longer video, I put in 6 miles on the bike. 
I'm thankful for the time I was here today. I hoped to get the notifications finished, but it feels like I barely made a dent in them. I'll try again tomorrow. It might go faster if I can get on the computer.
I'm thankful I have the laundry done. I did it at 4 this morning when I got up from my nap and while the laptop was updating for two hours. I had the laundry done before the laptop finished updating. I only need to get it put away.

If you're not used to using a laptop, things can go slower. I've actually been using laptops since high school. So I'm more productive on them then I would be without them. I am thankful the rain wasn't a problem while we were out and the worst of it cleared out.

@just4him I know. Computers were starting to find their way in school when I was a kid. I watched them become what they are. That's how I can be so quick and productive.

That's amazing that she offered you her computer, very nice of her! My laptop is a Gateway, think they are a nice brand.
Sounds like a good day there. That's early to get laundry done! But I know you are up that early.

Thank you. I have three pairs of bears. Dated. They are Christmas bears.
I got the orchid when I got the patio set a couple of weeks ago.
