Across the world, there are currently multiple projects for capturing atmospheric carbon that are geared toward slowing down global warming and mitigating the harmful effects of climate change. One such initiative that is being implemented in Greenland directs the captured carbon underground where it is infused into rocks. While such strategy is an impressive invention meant to enable humankind to avoid a catastrophic climate change-induced event, I am concerned about the possibility of the carbon finding its way into the atmosphere. What are your views about this innovation?
