Are you still carrying hand sanitizer?

I had a small bottle I was keeping in my purse, but it is just about gone so I bought another one to replace it. I was just thinking though I have a larger one in my car, I could have just refilled the small bottle I have with that, but didn't think of it,,,maybe next time since I already bought a replacement. Covid or not, I think it is good to have around.

I agree; it's good to have around. I carry a small bottle in my purse and we have bottles in our glove compartments for the vehicles. Now that I'm looking at it, there's a bigger bottle on the table near our front door.

@snowy22315 This bigger bottle was given to us, complimentary, at the check out line of a local store. I remember being very grateful; you really can't be too careful.

Even before covid, it has been my family's practice to carry hand sanitizers everywhere.

@snowy22315 Hand sanitizers from Bath & Body was quite popular here pre covid days and it was more convenient to carry around everywhere.

Yes, I carry a small spray container (about the size of a credit card) in my pocket and we use it often. (Walmart kept giving them to associates and a lot of people didn't want them so I gathered them up and kept bringing them home. We still have thirty or so of the small containers left.)

@DaddyEvil Remember when Covid first started? You couldn't find it anywhere, and they kept recommending it on TV.

@snowy22315 Yes, they are. We have a few large bottles if we ever run out of the small containers.

@RubyHawk I could have a bottle in the bathroom, but I think I gave most of mine away. I know there is a medium sized bottle in the car.

@snowy22315 I’d practically forgotten about mine I haven’t had it out in so long. I still have a couple of larger bottles in the bathroom.

For sure nowadays I don't carry it but I do make sure I wash my hands thoroughly with soap and water and I avoid greeting people by my palms usually elbow or waving

No, come to think of it, but every time I am a place where it is offered free to use, I always do. When the pandemic first started the sanitizer I had dried my hands out. So I found a moisturizing hand sanitizer from Gold Bond, which I loved. When I ran out, and couldn’t find more, I quit buying it. So now I just wash my hands even more.

I usually avail myself of those big bottles too. I am glad some of the stores still have it around.

I always have a bottle of sanitiser in my purse. Its better to be safe than sorry. I also keep one at home for the guests in case they want to sanitize their hands when they come.

Some stores still have it at their entrance, so I might take advantage of that. I do have a little teeny bottle in my purse in case I need it. But in most cases I do try to use a restroom to soap and water my hands clean. My dentist was about not using too many chemicals - she'd actually have soap and a jug of water in her car!!

Yes, well I don't use it constantly, just whenever I feel I might need it. It is comforting to know it is there and it doesn't take up much room.

We've had hand sanitizer in the vehicles for decades before covid and probably will not stop. It is just a 'necessity' in a vehicle like tissues are in my mind.

@snowy22315 When I can, I reach a rest room and wash my hands. Where I cannot I use the sanitizer, I do not want to touch my mouth or rub my eye with dirty hands.

I have carried a tiny one in my purse for years, way before the pandemic. I am one of those people who catch things very easily. I keep one in the car console as well.
