I am glad they cared enough to rescue a simple racoon. Which begs the question, did you see the fairly recent video of a racoon going up to the drive thru of a donut shop, and taking a donut with it's "hands" from the lady in the to go window? It was amazingly cute. And the racoon didn't try to bite her; I think it is a regular thing.

I did not see the video that you mentioned. I guess raccoon need to eat food that they see on the road like the rest of us.

@Deepizzaguy I hope you can find it sometime. I mean it just took the donut from her hand like they’d done it a million times!

Raccoon are real climbers. I’m surprised he couldn’t get down by himself. Glad they got him down so he could go back to the woods.

Maybe the raccoon was scared of heights is the reason he did not come down.

@Deepizzaguy Or maybe the pole was slippery and he couldn't get a grip.

Now how did that silly creature get up so high? Glad he was rescued and I am sure he learned his lesson for climbing so high, Perhaps some animal chased him up that pole,

@kobesbuddy You are right since the authorities were concerned that the raccoon would have fallen down from the light pole and likely die from the fall.

@Deepizzaguy And it's obviously too far a fall, for this baby animal to remain unharmed.
