A certain local family has delayed to bury the body of their kin because the head of the deceased is missing. This is after an attacker severed the head of the deceased and hid this organ.
Apparently, tradition dictates that burying a headless body is taboo.
What do you think about this funerary practice?

Well, that is certainly a terrible thing, and I hope the thief is found and punished. I’m sure they have their reasons for seeing it as taboo to bury a headless body, but I’d go ahead and do it. They could always choose to cremate as well, which may be more palatable to them than picturing a body in a coffin with no head. Personally, I’d rather be cremated than buried. It’s also cheaper.
