Truly Have Little To Do Today

I went outside to try and get part of the yard mowed while it was still cooler outside today but... the grass is still dew-soaked so can't be mowed yet. *sigh* I did pull all the weeds out of the pots on the front porch. (That was easy since nothing else has been planted in them, just the weeds that have sprouted from seeds blown in by the wind. All the pots are clear now.) I'll have to wait until this afternoon to mow, I guess. The sun is shining so should dry the grass out but probably not until the sun actually reaches it. It's 73F but the shadow of the house covers the front yard until late this morning. I've already done everything else around the house... I guess I'll go back to bed, instead. Enjoy your day.

I stripped the bed, removed the light blanket and placed the white summer blanket. The hot days are here.

We are having an odd pattern of rain It rains and then steps for the sun to come up and this happens all the time.

Good to know that you have a relaxed day. Enjoy it. It's been raining and cloudy here in the last few days. That saves me from the job of watering plants . It's a bit busy and hectic at work these days. Waiting for weekend and it's almost here

Rosie Bot sounds like a dear indeed. I have been a subscriber to Netflix for several years. I am even a member of their Preview Club and get to watch movies while they are in production.

It's so dry here, everything is dying. Grass everywhere is brown. Towns and villages are forbidding all fireworks for now, and of course the little towns that normally allow burning have put a stop to that as well. We need rain so badly. The meteorologists say that we are at the point of pretty much complete crop failure in our area, and it would pretty much take a miracle to save many of those fields. Of course massive crop failures affects costs for everyone eventually, which no one wants. My robot vac is named Rosie, as well. I named her after the robot maid the Jetson's had in the cartoon years ago. She is totally awesome, I love her.
