23 June - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from toasty Green Bay, Wisconsin. We've hit our high of 87F. I have much to be thankful for today.
I'm thankful for the six and a half hours of sleep I got last night. I was only up once and went right back to sleep. 
I'm thankful I got the laundry done and put it away first thing this morning. I had it finished when I posted the Bible study.
I'm thankful for the nap I got this morning. It was a perfect hour.
I'm thankful I got all the notifications finished. I see I have more to work on before I get off the computer for the day.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Guns of War. One more chapter. It takes longer to go through when you need to fix the format.
I'm thankful for the exercise class this morning. I put in five miles on the bike as they watched the shorter tape.
Okay, that's my day in a nutshell. Of course, there are many other things I'm thankful for such as a place to live, food on the table, my family, and my relationship with Jesus Christ, my Savior.

I'm thankful the thunderstorms cleared out , making the beach outing possible. I'm thankful things worked out pretty well.

@marysplace there are times I do not post anything and just comment, other times I post one thing, and if I have lots more to say I post 2 or three articles. We have people who come and go all day and post in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on when they get on here. It depends on how much time you can devote to myLot. I also blog and write articles for other sites and do surveys so I only come on usually once a day,

It sounds like you had a good day. I sent a text to my dad today that I knew he would find funny, but not knowing the back story, others would find insulting. After an hour, I checked my phone to see if he had responded. To my absolute horror, I realized I had accidentally sent that text to my dad’s wife, Diana. I hurriedly tried to call her to no avail, and followed that up by explaining in another text. Ten minutes later, my dad called me, laughing. He said as soon as Diana read my text she immediately turned to him and said, “I think your daughter intended this text for you.”
So I am thankful she was not offended, and we all had a good laugh. I have never texted the wrong person before, and I hope never to again.

I'm glad it all turned out well. I've texted the wrong person a few times. I thought I texted my son that I would be right out, only to find out later it went to another family member. Then when my books arrived, I texted the person down the hall that I had a book for her to find I texted my son's girlfriend. The good thing was, she was also getting a book. So, it worked out.

Food on the table, a roof over our heads, money to pay the bills, clothes on our backs and a love that we share. That's what I'm thankful for today. Oh, and a nap after lunch. I was so tired after being up for more than 24 hours that I conked out and slept really hard for a couple of hours.
