Next year I will be opening my online shop and will have a table at some vendor fairs. I will be making and selling all things budget related. Envelopes, fake money, savings challenges, binders, etc. My goal is to make them affordable. We all want pretty things to guide us on our journeys in life but I am not finding any of these things that are affordable to me. So I will be making my own. It will cost almost $1,000 to get started but as I sell items I will be building my business to be able to do giveaways. I firmly believe that some people will only ever be able to have the nice things if they win them on a giveaway. And that is ok. Poor and broke people deserve to have some nice items too. I just need to come up with a business name because I will have to make an online following using my business name and I am not good at picking names. So currently my part of starting the business is getting everything figured out, deciding what I need to get started, and finding the business income model that works best for me. I already know that I need to set 30% aside for taxes so that I am not surprised come tax time.
