are we spending more than what we need on defence

On behalf of the department of defense (army) especially those of us on the low end of the totem pole....in a nutshell....yes in places. I think they are spending lots of Armed Forces money and it is in stupid wasteful places and thats why its not there for the equipment we need to complete a mission (Vehicle Armor Crisis Anyone?)or to properly pay those of us on the lower end of the ladder.
