Hello
In our daily like is full of making difficult choices and mostly we feel that people should love what we do or say. To survive in this planet, some times we are forced to do something.
I remember when I was growing up, in school, I just realized that I did my best to impress the teachers, like sometimes I could do some extra work to better the performance, I never realized that till today.
Well right now I have no one to impress, well except my parents, making choices that I may not be a disappointment.
Is there anybody you are trying to impress either at work or at home?

I tried to impress this guy at church years ago. I had on a cute dress, fishnet stockings and high heals. All this did no good. He just looked away from me and paid me no mind. I was shocked because in my neighborhood I was thought to be good-looking. These days I'm myself. Too much work trying to impress a guy.

I think it is natural. When we interact even here there is an element that calls for readers to be impressed by what we write.

I currently am not trying to impress anyone. I always strived in the past for perfection in school and was always trying to impress my teachers and parents.

Impressing someone through communicative language may lead to positive outcomes such as building rapport, trust, respect and potentially new opportunities, but honesty and authenticity are important in communication. Hope you have a great day!

@thebos I think we all have at one point in our lives that we try to impress someone, be it for rapport or for communication. At the end of the day, as long as the intention is on a positive note then it does not do anything harm. Thanks for responding.
