Graduation bouquet

A lady sent me a message asking if I could make a graduation bouquet for her boyfriend. She was very specific with what she wanted.
She wanted a dark green bear wearing a graduation cap and five yellow tulips. She really wanted it to be special and she was very vocal in saying so. She trusted me to do it well.
I updated her with pictures each time for any changes she might request. When it was done, she was finally happy with everything!

Not to mention the shipping fee which would be very expensive.
I do receive messages on instagram from people claiming to be from the US wanting to buy my work. But I knew they were scams. I could tell they were not from there.

@toniganzon Yes, shipping is crazy.
People have a lot of nerve trying to scam you.

@AmbiePam that's pretty common. They're usually from Africa or Nigeria. I've also talked to one person selling me a silicone doll at a very cheap price and she showed me a photo of a Laura kit which I'm quite familiar of. When I asked if she sculpted it herself she said yes. Of course it was a lie. The Laura kit is by Bonnie Brown and no silicone artist would copy the work of another artist. Knew she was a scam.

Thank you. The most difficult part is the bouquet wrapping. Not really skilled at that at all. I should practice more.

@DaddyEvil Thank you. It still needs a lot of improvement though.

@toniganzon You're welcome. I think the wrapping came out looking nice, too.

@toniganzon I like the color. It would look nice in other colors as well.

Thank you. I didn't like the color of the bear though but had to follow the customer's request. It was her boyfriend's favorite color.

That is something really different and something she could keep unlike a traditional bouquet.

That's very true so I did my best and glad that she was really satisfied with it. She even added one more order. A flower in a pot for her boyfriend's mom.

@CarolDM I had never wrapped flowers in a bouquet before crocheting became a hobby/business. I never even imagined I'd be making money out of this hobby.

It's not that difficult to crochet. The wrapping is what I find the most challenging. I need more practice.

Thank you. Crocheted bouquet flowers are quite common here.
