Hey, everyone. I haven't posted, but I've also been busy. You know how that goes. Today is June 27th, 2023.... 10 years since my Daddy passed away from Lung Cancer. Sometimes, it feels like it's been longer than 10 years. Other times, it feels like it just happened. I miss my Dad all the same though. I could've used my Dad when my anxiety was through the roof earlier this year, or when we lost Momma almost two years ago. While I know he's watching over us, I miss him being here with us. But I know he's with Momma, and they're together in Heaven. That's my belief. Rest in Peace, Daddy. I miss you, and I love you to the moon and back. Photo Credit: It's my photo.

Absolutely. Sometimes, the fact that both my parents are gone just blows my mind (and not in a good way). And then reality hits you all over again. :(

@tammys85 I understand you sometimes go through a hard time but also don't forget to appreciate what you have now

@thebos Thank you. I do appreciate what I have now, but I'm gonna grieve both my parents for the rest of my life, and it's good for me to talk about it rather than keep it inside. Grieving a loved one, especially a parent, doesn't mean not appreciating the present.

It truly is tough without them. One of the reasons I went back to therapy; I felt it was a good decision because even as an adult, navigating the world without my parents is tough. Thank you so much.
