The cherry ice cream is finished

I churned the cherry ice cream base that I made last night this evening. It is so incredibly dark red and it looks amazing. The recipe was time consuming and very expensive. A quart of it cost me at least $25 to make. I have the time and the money and it has just been a project to entertain myself during my time off. I'm going to give it to my dad. He LOVES cherries and gorges himself on them each summer for the short time that they are available. I have many of these plastic quart-sized containers and a couple of sheets of these custom stickers that say "Made with love from the kitchen of (NJChicaa)". This particular container has obviously been used a few times and run through the dishwasher. I'll drop this ice cream off to my dad tomorrow. We'll see what he thinks about it!
