I guarantee you that if I was ever to see a one horned rhino near me, I would do what I can to stay away from the animal. A male one horned male rhino named Moah managed to escape his primary enclosure on Wednesday. The good news is that the rhino was not in a position to harm anyone of the persons inside the Buffalo Zoo. However in the vein of caution zoo officials asked the visitors inside of the zoo to go indoors until the rhino was captured in a period of 10 minutes. The mystery is how did the rhino got away from the paddock in the first place. Link is upi.com/7991688049203 via @upi

I wouldn't be keen on being the one to try to round up the poor thing.

Animals are craftier than we think. I am thankful the zoo keepers knew what was going on and took precautions with the visitors.

Only the rhino will know. Don't know much about that animal though, are they aggressive?

I do not have much any knowledge about the behavior of rhinos being dangerous or not.

Those poor animals in a zoo, they aren't well cared for. That rhino should be out in the wild, where it was born!

I am in agreement with you about rhinos needing to be out in the wild instead of a zoo.

That is very true about a rhino having fear like any of us has.

What worries me is why the poor rhino thought it would be good to escape, I hope he is not being abused,

A rhino could do a lot of damage if he got frightened or angry.

That is true since I remember a Spider-Man villain named Rhino who was a male dressed as a rhino would charge at Spider-Man like a rhino when he would attack him in the cartoon series.

You are welcome. I am sure rhinos are harmless when they are not threatened by humans.

I used to watch zoo programs a lot; and they would treat the rhinos like big babies. The rhinos ate out of their hands and were quite docile. I"m glad no one was hurt.
