First salisbury steak ever: first meatloaf in years

I got busy this week, within my limitations, to make something I've been craving since my friend made it during our trip to the Poconos. He made Salisbury steak and I just so enjoyed that meal. I really did. I've thought about it ever since. I even bought ground beef just so I could try my hand at it.
I basically did what he did using diced bell peppers, torn up slices of bread, a little milk, an egg, Badia seasoning (in lieu of Adobo seasoning) and then I added some salsa (which came from a recipe we made years ago that we enjoyed here at home).
I made one salisbury steak and cooked in on my griddle. A little before I'd have put it on my plate, I poured a little packaged brown gravy over the top to get that hot. I also had two slices of buttered bread and some applesauce (which I enjoy with meatloaf and this was like a meatloaf patty).
I put the remaining meat mix in the fridge in a casserole dish covered with foil. Today, I got that out after lining the insert pot of the Ninja Foodi with foil so that I could avoid having to clean the pot. I put it on bake, but apparently the Foodi only bakes in 15 minute intervals, so I did that twice, adding a can of green beans that was mostly drained. When that 15 minutes was up, I went out and took a look. It smelled great and was fully cooked.
I took a large, wide spatula and managed to get it under the meatloaf, lifted it and put it on a plate. I then gathered up the foil around all the sides and poured the green beans on both sides of the meatloaf, as you can see in the bottom photos. I put a pat of butter on each group of green beans and let it melt. I then sliced the meatloaf, put it on my plate, scooped up the beans and added them. I didn't put the gravy this time, but plan to the next time. I did add some applesauce. And, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. I want to make mashed potatoes next time. This was just a basic two ingredient meal and was very good.

I'd heard of salisbury steak before your post but didn't know exactly what it was.
Certainly like the sound of it and can see you could add some personal taste additions.
I may give it a try myself...I don't think it'd be available here in a restaurant or as a microwave meal so it'd be a DIY job

Marie Callender has Salisbury steak as does Banquet (one is obviously superior, but I'll eat either.) There are so many different recipes. Mine was a little loose because I added the two liquids (milk and salsa - thought to add the salsa after I added the milk). But, it held together fine to slice and put on my plate. Once it's cold, I'm going to make a sandwich!

@jerzgirl I've not heard of those brands over here.
I'll have a try at my own version
