Millions of money scattered in a bridge

I think the guy was transporting money for his company, about 73K USD. The company wanted to save money on gas, so it was just transported by a guy in a motorcycle. The zipper of the bag malfunctioned in the bridge, so it was scattered. Some passersby were quick to pick up the money, not to return it, but to keep it to themselves.
The employee is now asking for help, for the people to return the money since he will be the one to make up for the missing amount which is just heartbreaking.
I hope someone gets him a lawyer, since it was not entirely his fault.

The company should have given him a vehicle. Now both he and the company will be at a loss.

Oh, that is sickening. You know, a man here made a $20,000 mistake at his job, and they fired him. A friend of his started a GoFundMe, and the country caught wind of it. They raised more than enough to cover the loss. Unfortunately, the company refused to rehire him. I know the motorcycle rider lost more than $20,000, but hopefully someone can do something similarly to help him. Shame on those greedy people. They will find out someday what it feels like to suffer an injustice.
