An Eerie Whisper

I found a visual voicemail on my phone. I missed it earlier from several days ago. We had talked earlier and I thought she forgot something she wanted to tell me.
I listened and it was just a lot of people talking or a TV program. I was about to delete it but decided to hear the rest. I heard my friend's voice a couple of times.
Twice, I thought I heard a whisper saying, "Help." I listened some more and heard it again. I don't know if it was my friend, the TV, or someone in the group. Or, perhaps I heard it all wrong. I don't know what to think.
What do you think? Did anything like that ever happen to you? What do you think I should do about it?

No, I've never heard anything like that. I would call my friend back and ask if everything was okay... and maybe offer to go get them if they wanted to talk privately.

@akalinus Oh, I see... Then, I guess the best you can do is call her when you have time and just ask if everything is okay.
I hope she's fine and you misunderstood something or you were hearing a program on her television.

Did you call your friend to check up on her? Even if nothing is wrong and she is fine, you two can have a good laugh about it later. But if she is in need of help, then you clearly did the right thing by reaching out to her.

I would be calling her back to see if everything is ok..I really hope that it is. But it could also be a butt dial and your hearing back ground noise.

If you really think it was someone asking for help, I would be calling now and not waiting until the evening. Another thing is you could have someone else listen to it,and see if they heard the same thing.

Call you friends and ask her about it.
You probably heard right and it could have been the tv. We could have lots of assumptions but your friend can clarify it for you.
