I've never used that OR the shot. I have an IUD and i LOVE it. I don't have to worry about anything for up to five years. :)

I was thinking about an IUD. But i dont like the thought of putting anything into my body. I dont know how i would react to it.

It was really quick and easy to get done and you never have to worry about remembering a pill, or patch.. or worry about taking anything in or out. I was apprehensive at first as well, but i'm so happy i got it. :)

I get the shot and I LOVE it! I only have to go in every three months, it doesn't hurt at all, takes about two minutes to do, and I don't get my monthly visit as well. The only problem is if you want to have kids in the future it could take longer. But other than that I highly recommend the shot. Don't do the patch, I was reading somewhere that it actually increases risks for certain diseases or something like that.
