There are several ways one gets their morning exercise Some visit the gym, some go for walking trails, joggers' parks, some hit the road, some like to swim, there are some who prefer doing yoga, play badminton or such games,....
I take strolls in the garden a number of times during the day and even climbing steps in the house to go to the first floor.helps
The problem however is when it rains and for that I have a solution. We have a biggish hall having a length of around 35 feet. I take stroll tshere and repeat that length everal times.
What do you do when it rains?

@allen0187 I tried Yoga, I even went to one class. But there wasn't much room, and I almost knocked everybody down when I couldn't balance well. So I did some using YouTube videos for a while. Then I started walking the dog. And if I am alone in the elevator there's a great yoga I do to strengthen the stomach muscles.

Ikea is great for that. The floor plan is a big maze and you get a lot of exersice just walking from the beginning to the end. By then you also have so much stuff to carry that they give out carts half way through, and it gets heavy pushing the cart! Lots of exercise going to IKEA

@lifecoachjerusalem Going up steps is excellent exercise. There are very few steps around our village. It's designed like that for walkers/wheelchairs/etc.

We live on the 7th floor, so it is good to get exercise to walk up and down the steps. Actually Dor the dog lies to go up the steps. . . He pulls me too.

I sit by the window, watching torrents of rain glazing over the glass. It's strikes a different cord...reminds me of all the happiness and then the imminent renunciation.

You seem to be exercising your eyes and mind but what about the body?

I planned to use the trampoline when it rains, but so far after a number of years I haven't done that. Maybe it is time for me to take it out and use it. I don't want to jump but use it for walking. Either use it or give it away. Thanks posting this important topic to keep exercising even when the weather outside is not conductive for long walks.

@allknowing It is folded up in a corner right now, and today I have to go on a trip to the North, so I won't have time. . . Maybe tomorrow I will use it.

That can be for several days that you may not be able to go to the gym.

It's too hot to walk outside so I just walk down our long hallway to the kitchen and back over and over.

I take a early morning walk everyday. When it rains heavily, I stay home, doing some stretching exercises and just walk in the apartment.
