I think I mentioned before I have these little gizmos that are supposed to cut down on electricity costs, by preventing spikes. I have been skeptical but maybe they are really working. With all I have been using the AC I expected my power bill to be like 200 bucks, but my bill projection is 88! Of course, this was probably calculated before I started using the AC more often than not. Hopefully the next one after that won't be a whopper!

Wow if it really is that low that is amazing! Our last bill was $240 I believe. My stepson runs his air conditioner 24-7 or I’m sure it would be significantly lower. My husband is very fond on the air conditioning as well. I prefer it warm. I finally finished the book I was reading and am starting yours now. I usually am online trying to earn gift cards etc in my free time so I don’t read much anymore. I just haven’t felt up to being online doing things much so I’ve done a bit more reading the past two days .

Well, that is good. I hope you like it.It isn't really my best work, just kind of a trial balloon to see how it was going to go.

That’s great! My power bill took me off guard this month. Last month it was $70, and this month it was $143! Considering I live in a 690 sq. ft. apartment, that is ridiculous.I made a call, but they claimed it was accurate.

Well, we are now in the hottest part of the summer. Maybe you should log how much you are using it, and the costs and compare the bills.. Sometimes the electric company have that budget billing too. Maybe you could look into that...you know where you pay the same approximately every month all year, based on your average.

We pay three times a year, the electricity bill is never "scary". The last I paid was $ 250 for 4 months.

@snowy22315 We spend more in gas because the we heat the house with gas, we use for cooking and also to heat the water.

In summer our electricity is basically 0 because we have solar panals. The box went out last year and we did not know. like a thousand bucks for 6 month span but my sister threw a fit. Winter is like 20 or 40 because sun not out as much and probably be zero but brother has crazy computer set up.

I would love to have solar. I have skylights. I have thought about replacing them with solar panels, but still not cheap.

Our power bills are really low lately. I guess it's because of the solar panels although we've had a lot of cloudy days lately. Maybe the next one will be bigger.

Well, you are barely there. I would be shocked if they were high. Plus you have solar panels.
