Burger King in Thailand has introduced a new sandwich. It has 20 slices of cheese and no meat for $3.10 USD (109 bhat). Leslie Van Houten who took part in the Charles Manson Helter Skelter murders, has been released from jail. The Hallmark Channel has announced a Christmas Cruise with the stars. It will run November 5-9, leaves from Miami and will sail to Nassau in the Bahamas. Cookie decorating, an ugly sweater contest and Christmas karaoke are some of the events that will take place on the ship. Presale sign-ups are now through July 19. Sale of tickets to the general public start July 21 at 2 pm. Holiday movie stars are yet to be determined. I wonder if @LouAvul will be interested? Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken breast and gravy, biscuits, carrots, Brussels sprouts and Mandarin oranges Dessert/Snack - Banana walnut muffin and decaf coffee Dinner - Turkey/Swiss sandwich and potato salad What did you eat yesterday? I was thinking the same as @Juliaacv. A sandwich consisting of 20 slices of cheese makes no sense to me.

@Juliaacv I fully agree, you cannot even feel the taste of each cheese, is gross.

Especially if it's that yellow processed cheese. Yuck.

I cannot imagine a sandwich consisting of so much cheese, processed cheese no doubt at that, ever being a popular menu item. I hope that it comes with a side of cabbage or something to help move it along. Yesterday was an 'off' day for me. I was busy on my breaks and lunch cleaning, so had an egg for lunch and did not feel like alot for supper, so toasted a slice of whole wheat bread, added some peanut butter to it and sliced up half a banana and called it supper.

@Juliaacv You're right about the cheese sandwich. Needs a lot of cabbage.

I saw these, except for the hilarious cheese sandwich. The Hallmark cruise sounds perfect for so many people, and I bet it is a big success. Yesterday, I had shrimp, salad, carrots, popcorn, and a plum.

I read about Van Houten being released after 53 years. Can you imagine being out in this world after 53 years away. I would have to pass on a sandwich with that much cheese. Hope you two are doing well.

Van Houten will probably be at a halfway house for a while. We are doing OK. I hope you feel better soon. Thinking about Brendel and wishing I could do something.

I heard about that "burger" - that's a LOT of cheese! Maybe a couple slices on a grilled bun, so it's like a grilled cheese would be good. Chicken with gravy? That sounds good!

I often wonder just what it is that makes humans want to do things in such excess. 20 pieces of cheap, processed cheese, how terrible for anyone to consume this in one sitting. It actually makes my stomach churn! Am I the only one on mylot that truly does not like the Hallmark Channel? So many of the movies are just like soap operas--all finding the absolute love of their life, no one has ever loved like they have, it is the best, oh--snow lightly falling in a picturesque setting, probably a brook with a bench beside it, and the man comes along and saves the woman from a terrible future of being unloved. Yes, I have seen them before when a family member got hooked on them. Maybe I should appreciate them more, but I just can't.

I don't watch the Hallmark Channel either. Too soapy. Lifetime Movies are a little bit better. They have a lot of true stories sometimes.

@LindaOHio I love a good fairy tale once in a while, but Hallmark takes it way over the top.

My uncle has been in a couple of Hallmark movies, wonder if he’ll be on that cruise. I had chicken taco salad for lunch and taters for dinner.

Wow, 20 slices of cheese is overkill. That’s really disturbing to hear that someone involved in the Charles Manson murders was released.

That is a really nice-looking place with that boardwalk, I love cheese but I would not pay that amount for just a cheese sandwich. I sure hope Leslie Van Houten has learned her lesson that crime does not pay and can live out her old age in peace. I could not afford that cruise and would not go alone anyway but it does sound like a lot of fun, I had rice with some soy and chicken nuggets,

Leslie is going to have to adjust to a whole new world. Will she try to work or go on welfare? She's going to have a rough row to hoe. Enjoy your day.

I heard she was released from prison on the news just now. The Christmas cruise with the stars sounds interesting, but it's going in the wrong direction. I'm only interested in an Alaskan cruise. My food yesterday was extremely light. I wasn't hungry. I had my usual breakfast: Eggs, potato, and a banana. Supper was a stuffed baked potato at the restaurant last night for Writer's Guild. It had broccoli, cheese, bacon bits, and sour cream. My friend offered me fried onions. My total calories didn't come to 800. The scale should be kind to me this morning.

They melt it; but that's way too much binding cheese to have at one time! I would prefer Swiss anyway. The pictures look like American.

A sandwich with 20 slices of cheese could really bind one up. The Hallmark cruise sounds like something K might enjoy if she could get over her fear of deep water.

And the cheese looks like 20 slices of American or processed cheese. I would prefer another cheese. I'd gag on 20 pieces of processed cheese.
