I don't mean that he looked like NPH but the dermatologist was very young. I swear to God he looked 25. Being a dermatologist which is a specialist he would have be about 30, but I guess if he graduated from HS and college early and went straight thru he could be about 28. That would probably work. Anyway, my two appts. couldn't have been better. Lost 20 lbs since March on the Ozembic injections, even though I am supposed to be in this study another year and a half it is quite possible I will meet my goal weight well before then. I guess you just stay on a maintenace dose or something.
Anyway good news there, and then the derm says very likely just a skin irritation. Come back in 6 months if anything happens such as getting larger color change etc...no charge, although I am supposed to have a 35.00 insurance co pay wonder why they didn't charge it upfront? Other people paid their co pays at the desk.

My insurance unfortunately wouldn’t pay for me to take Ozempic. My sister lost 40 pounds on it before insurance quit paying for hers. Once she was off of it she was hit with awful hunger pains, but she’s actually been able to adjust to that, and keep that weight off. I’m sure you will be able to as well.
And, I’m glad to hear it is only a skin irritation you have, and nothing worse.

Yes, this is a clinical trial. THey pay y ou to do this...so in other words...sweet! Honestly, I haven't eaten alot differently than I usually do. I am just more conscious of what I am putting in my mouth.

@snowy22315 That’s awesome! I get boring clinical trial offers for things like migraines that might be a placebo. I ain’t taking the chance of being given a placebo for a migraine. They’d have to pay me a lot more than they offered ($400).

Wow your doctor visit sounds like it went well and glad that it's probably just a skin irritation and not something more serious. Yay for you losing 20 pounds

@Marilynda1225 I have some clothes I haven't worn here in a good while. I have a pair of shorts that only fits when I have been dieting and some of my jeans were too tight from going through the washer and dryer. They might be good candidates. There is also one pair of shorts that I know for a fact is a smaller size. I will try those.

@snowy22315 Guess they lie when they say every 10 pounds is a size difference. Soon you'll be able to get new and smaller clothes.

Lately in my life, all doctors look like my grandchildren. I usually treat them as I would treat one of them when they are behaving

I'm glad the doctor wasn't too concerned about the skin irritation.

@snowy22315 I understand. It's always better to be safe with things like that.
Years ago my doctor burned a mole off me with dry ice. When it grew back, he got concerned.
