Today, the Ferry Building in San Francisco turned 125 years old today. There was a celebration there today with free ferry rides and free ice cream. The building started as a travel hub and has had many uses in its lifetime. Today it houses many businesses. It is a well known tourist attraction there as well as a place to shop. You can get there by taking Caltrain from the San Jose Diridon Station to the San Francisco station, and then walk the rest of the way.

I think this is one of the places my friend plans on stopping by on her trip to San Francisco this September.
