Are you a dog lover or a cat lover?
Some people swear by their loyal and playful pups, while others adore their independent and cuddly kitties.
Of course, then there are people like me who love both animals and can't choose a favorite.
I am a dog MOM and Cat AUNT, and personally they all love me
I think, when it comes to pets, they are just adorable babies and part of family, it really doesn't matter much dog or cat...

You are very right in what you said. I have had one dog and two cats in my adult life here in Israel and I love both. I would like another dog but it seems like it is not a good idea to get one and not sure my cat would like a dog. She does not get enough attention. If I had a dog again it would be from the lab family or a husky and they can get to be big dogs and need room to run around so I probably would not and I am no spring chicken so it is my last pet and it is my cat and want to raise her right. I like what you said at the end because it is so true that they are our babies and are very much a part of our families.

I found that when I had my dog and then the cat came she was fine with it because she was a very sweet dog and very friendly but if a dog came and only had a cat they would not be so nice as she was. After I had my dog I fell in love with labs of all kinds and huskies. I found them to be very friendly dogs. I am glad that it turned out that they became best buddies. My cat has only me but when it was my dog and my cat and my ex which was my husband at the time they became my animals. I am the one that cared and loved them and he did not.

I get the feeling!!! I have GSD, with big dogs it's always important to give them space...
And yeah, Cats are choosy, fortunately my cousins cat's are staying with us number of times so they are used to him. Honestly, at first it was tough for them to like my dog, since he is calm and they scratched him number of times...
But now they are best buddies....

I grew up with pets...dogs, cows, rabbits, parrots etc. And I always had a pet dog till 2014. I love pets. But when it comes to cats, I have a phobia for them and I don't go close to them or look into their eyes. My elder daughter loves cats but my daughters have allergy to cats. So no cats for me.

@Aansh13 I have been attacked by cats a few times for no fault of mine and was bitten once by on tom cat. These incidences in growing up years has instilled a fear in me.

I will probably always prefer a dog over a cat, but I love cats as well. Quite frankly, Snowy’s cat, Nico, and Kayla’s cat, Chilly, have made me want a cat more and more. Unfortunately, my dog Sadie, does not care for other pets, so a cat will have to wait. I really want a sphinx cat, which has no hair.
