Hi Everyone,
I can't begin to tell you how much I miss all of you wonderful people. I am still a bit of a hermit. I have been busy writing and I got to do a focus group which paid very well. I actually drove to it myself which was a big deal for me these days.
I lost my little dog Brie in April, she was 16.5. We have a new dog Remy Martina who is a cut little handful.
I was up at 4 am this morning to take my grandson Chris to work. He got out at noon and treated me and Jack to lunch. Kasey is in Chicago on a getaway with her best friend.
I may be headed to Vermont later this week after Kasey gets back. My brother and sister in law have been after me to come up.
We have a new deck going on the cottage, it will be a great place to sit and look at the lake.
It has been hot and rainy here. Very hot and very rainy. I cant wait for fall frankly. lol I'm sorry all you summer loving people, but I am not a fan.
I am moving forward slowly, I am content and enjoying myself as much as possible without Al. My grandson Danny has not been relocated from Wyoming to Massachusetts so I will be seeing more of him which is great.
I guess that is it for now but I plan to spend some time catching up on what all of you are doing.
The photo is Remy.

I would guess it is a little easier for your farming in the warm weather, isn't it? How are all your critters?

First of all, it's good to see you again. I wondered what happened to you. I'm so sorry to hear about Brie but happy to see your cute little Remy. You certainly have a lot going on. I would rather be hot than cold; and we could use some rain. Thanks so much for the update; and I wish you a wonderful day.

How wonderful you are here today ! Nice to see you!
So sorry to hear about your Brie. Sounds like you are busy and enjoying family time - little Remy Martina probably keeps you on your toes. It's been getting hot here . . . but I am a wimp to cold, so I'm kinda ok with this .

I am sorry that you lost your little dog, that must be difficult.
You raised a very loving family, that is so very evident when you write about them.
I am so glad that you have this.
We visited a sister-in-law on the weekend that just lost her hubby last September. She is less than 10 years older than I am, and her kids and grands are there each and every day with her. I feel like it is keeping her alive, but also youthful. Such a blessing to see and feel such love.
I agree with you about this summer, either extremely hot and muggy or cool and raining. Such a huge let down, the farmers are not happy with it either.
I know that John's anniversary is approaching, I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I am sure that him, as well as Al, are looking down on you all.

Yes it is, can you believe it is 4 years? We go away somewhere every year for the day at least, go to Mass, and then have a nice lunch and remember him. That's why I am going to Vermont now, I need to be back for the anniversary, It is right between Kasey's anniversary and her birthday. It's 3 days in a row!! We do have lots of love in our family. It makes it all bearable.

Sorry about Brie's passing. Our pets take up such a big part of our hearts. I hope Remy Martina brings you a lot of joy and happiness.
I am glad your family is close to you. I am sure that helps you after losing Al. I can't begin to imagine.
Were your brother and sister-in-law affected by the terrible flooding up in the northeast? The pictures we have seen have been heartbreaking.
I am with you, I am looking forward to fall. My favorite season. Have a blessed day.

No they have a hill where they live and no streams but it did cause a lot of damage on rout 4 in Killington which is about 10 miles from them.
