The main use of adding friends here is to get revenue even from your friends. The concept is real simple that more friends you have, more responses you get to your own started discussions. Mylot also pays for the responses you get on your started discussion. Three ways so far I have found to earn on Mylot. 1) Post quality responses on discussions started by anybody / your friend. 2) When somebody / friend replies on a discussion started by you. 3) When you have reached 500+ posts, you get the option to copy paste on replying and you can upload your photos. Only your friends can give comments on your uploaded photos. Mylot pays on comments received from your friends but not on personal photos. Personal photos will not be credited.

If you think that no use of adding friend on mylot. I think your thinking wrongly because friends can help in any nature. Any body don't know next time what happened with him. Suppose your my friend and one day you come here and you don't known about Indore city .You accidently face any problem and you have't any relatives here then in this condition A friend can help you .This is dose't matter that he is online friend or real life friend is friend.

dear ramya adding friends means they are ur regular reponders for your disscussions and you will increase credits and earnings. 2nd thing you get new friends circles.
