@spiderdust That is true they still smokey there from Canada and plus north east getting all kind of floods here in the states. Crazy weather anywhere you go. I do think California has some of the best weather, well except for wildfire that broke out in LA area,Its like 101 or 102. I think today was 99, very mellow and dry heat compared to like Arizona. That is nothing compared to last 5 to 7 years here. They like 116 in Phoenix. I am like dude it was 118 or119 here a few years ago. Then they go Phoenix all time record 118. I am like dammit, we the hottest the place. How my dumb mind works but makes me laugh.

Oh, I think the weather might be more comfortable at home. I'm heading towards humidity! I don't know if the smoke from Canada is in that area either.

@crossbones27 You've definitely had hotter weather than we got in the Bay Area, but the marine layer has been helping with that. I don't know if it got above 90°F yesterday.

We're all masked up and washing our hands in hopes of not catching anything.

I'm really looking forward to it. Of course it will be a little bit harder seeing some of the people with Mom gone now, but that's also.why going is important.

@spiderdust There will no doubt be many bittersweet moments. But it's good that you are all getting to go and visit.

It is definitely a long drive from California. We've done it, but it takes about 3-4 days each way.

Yeah, we're going to.be jetlagged and.off schedule for at least a day. I planned some buffer time to acclimate before we meet up with the rest of the family.
