Have you ever made your own jam? I just made my first homemade jam. I used a box of strawberries and honey. They came out really good. This will be my breakfast with some slices of whole wheat bread. Or maybe toasts.

I used to make lots of different jams and jellies and give them away to friends. I enjoyed eating them with homemade bread. I hope you enjoy what you've made.

Thanks. I enjoyed it very much as this was my first homemade jam. Why did you stop making your homemade jam?

@Shasha_ You're welcome. I don't eat very much jam. One jar lasts for over a year for me. I ended up giving most of what I made away and it's too expensive to make to do that.

That's awesome. Yeah, you have your own fruits, so the jams must be more delicious.

Yes, I often make my own jam, but I prefer sugar to honey.

@Shasha_ Everything in large quantities is bad for health, but if you have a little jam time by time this cannot cause health problems. Honey is also high in sugar and carbs and can raise blood sugar levels. It's an old myth that honey is healthier.

Me, too. Actually I prefer sugar. But a friend of mind told me that sugar is bad for health. So, I used honey instead.

@LadyDuck Yeah, most people here admire honey as it is substitute for sugar. Anyway, I agree with you. Everything which is too much is not good.

I used frozen strawberries. All were solid red. I only have jam on my toast once in a while, like 2 or 3 times in a month.

For sure they were delicious. Which kids don't like eating jam from their grandparent or great-grandparent?

Thanks for the compliment. I have no idea what indian blueberries are. But I'm sure they are so sweet and tasty like what common blueberry is.
