I used to make lots of different jams and jellies and give them away to friends. I enjoyed eating them with homemade bread.

I don't eat very much jam. One jar lasts for over a year for me. I ended up giving most of what I made away and it's too expensive to make to do that.

@Shasha_ Everything in large quantities is bad for health, but if you have a little jam time by time this cannot cause health problems. Honey is also high in sugar and carbs and can raise blood sugar levels.
It's an old myth that honey is healthier.
