Lightening Flashing and Rain Falling Down

I’m sitting on my deck answering notifications on Mylot, complaining about the heat when I got a big surprise. Heavy clouds were rushing over and thunder rolling, lightening flashing and the rain began pouring down. I’m still sitting in my swing enjoying the cool rain spraying in my face, watching the flash of lightening and listening to the roll of thunder. It’s so nice and cool. I hope it rains all night, but at least it’s nice and cool right now. Hope all my Mylot friends are enjoying the evening.

I am glad to hear it is going to be cooler now that the rain is coming down. We could really use some of that cooling down here. Please be careful if you get to go walking tomorrow when and if the rain stops.

I will be careful. My son called to say a tree blew down blocking their driveway. They had heavy winds up their way. There’s bound to be trees down.At least my power hasn’t gone off yet.

We had a thunderstorm this morning, is fresh and nice right now. I am enjoy sitting in front of the opened French door. I am almost getting sleepy.

We had storm warnings all day. About 4pm we had thunder and lightening and winds, and NO rain. It blew right over us. We could really use some rain. So, I went out and watered the tomatoes, etc. It's very dry here--that one big storm of two weeks ago just didn't give us enough to make up for how dry it has been. I hope you get all the rain you need!

That was just one day. It’s still hot here in the high nineties. In about three or four weeks the weather will begin to cool.

I used to like to get in the car and drive around during a thunder storm, I enjoyed watching the lightening flash, but I haven’t done that in awhile.

pretty painting. My uncle used to love sitting on the front porch while it rained. He got scared when it started lightening. I sat on my front porch while it rain last week while waiting on my ride to pick up my new eyeglasses.
