Another child has died in a hot car in Florida. What is wrong with people? Florida is one of the worst places to leave ANYONE or a pet unattended in a hot car. Wake up people! We managed to get a decent amount of rain last night along with some thunder boomers! Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed pepper, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, roll, apple juice, fruit Dessert/Snack - Brownie and decaf coffee Dinner - Piece of pizza What did you eat yesterday? @MommyOfEli2013 That's way too hot. I wouldn't expect Idaho to be that warm. It was 79 here yesterday.

There has got to be a car feature to prevent this from accidentally happening. I don’t understand why and how this problem has not been curbed. You know what I had yesterday, but I also had shrimp tikka masala too.

There has to be a sensor that could be installed or something like that.

@LindaOHio It would seem so obvious, and I think, I THINK, some car manufacturers have been working on this.

I fried myself 2 eggs for breakfast, had a very bad piece of buffalo chicken pizza for lunch, and leftover walnut shrimp for dinner. I had some pink grapefruit for a snack.

Uhm... I drank a protein shake for breakfast, ate a turkey and cheese sandwich for lunch and ate a can of chicken, potato and broccoli soup for supper last night. I hope you and your hubby have a good day.

That's tragic! I'm glad you got a good amount of rain. Food yesterday: Pie, strawberry shortcake, eggs with Feta, potato, 2 bananas, rice/tuna casserole with shredded cheese. I think that's it. It was twice my limit for calories. Thankfully, the scale didn't look disastrous this morning with all I've eaten for my birthday the last couple of days.

You're allowed to splurge on your birthday. I don't get how people can be so careless as to leave a baby in the car.

We had a really wile and intense storm come through late yesterday afternoon. I got out of the car and it was raining, but when I opened the back door of the car to get my laptop bag and whatnot from work the wind hit and the rain came down in sheets. I could feel it pelting my back and the backs of my legs. I was soaked when I got inside. Today was calm and sunny, thankfully.

@LindaOHio Getting soaked wasn't the terrible part, I was laughing at myself really. But the wind was so strong that I could barely walk into it. I had trouble catching my breath, and walking so slowly was how I got soaked. I was wearing my skeetcher sandles and they are super clean looking now.

People should be more responsible, sitting in a hot car is just like sitting in the oven. Yesterday in Spain a flight was delayed under the sun at 105 F. People closed inside the aircraft without air conditioning, started to faint. After 2 HOURS!!! they had to call the ambulances and now people are suing the Company. I would also.

Just love your bird photos. Never understood why people leave animals and children in hot cars but I think that it's about time that when something like this occurs the person responsible is made to sit in that hot car for half an hour and see what the think about that. My usual pork patties, seasoned fries, and gravy,

I just don't understand how in the hell someone can be that stupid, that ignorant, or that forgetful to leave a child in a hot car. Sorry for the language, but things like this make my blood boil. And it's not only children, these idiots are leaving their pets in the car as well. There may be a lot of things people don't like about Florida, but we do have a law that states a person can intentionally break the window of a car if they see a child or animal inside. No questions asked, no repercussions to the person who breaks the window.

I want a pelican for a neighbor. Yesterday we did not want to leave Rufus in the car since it was about 80 above so he went into a hardware store, feed store and sat at a table with us at a restaurant on their patio. He had a plain beef patty for his lunch and some of my fish burger bun.

Until 20-25 years ago, I never heard of anyone leaving a child in a car in the heat. Rain was around us but we didn't get any. We are supposed to get some more pop-up summertime afternoon storms today. Perhaps we will since we missed them yesterday. Yesterday we had ribs, lima beans, and cornbread.
