Chef Salad For Lunch

I had a delicious chef salad for lunch today . We drove to Wallingford VT to Main Street Cafe for lunch. Dora and Fran had Cobb salads. We were all very pleased.
We stopped at the grocery store on the way home and I picked up some yogurt, milk, meuselli to put in it and some corn chips to go with the dip Dora is making.
We will start playing Ticket to Ride soon. So far, no wins for me.

Oh lovely Belle..that salad looks divine.
I love those restaurant dishes too so sturdy.
The dip will be nice I am sure.
Okay have fun playing Ticket to Ride then.
Yes doing fine staying in as the heat is on here 100F Belle.

It is in the mid-80s here is Vermont. I am on a losing streak of Ticket to Ride but I like the game even if I don't win.

This little cafe has some excellent food, so fresh. My only gripe was they don't make their own salad dressing but so few restaurants do these days.

@MarieCoyle I asked the owner and she said she isn't that fancy. To me, that isn't fancy but maybe in Vermont it is lol She uses Ken's

I used to eat a lot of Cobb salads and loved them. Back when I weighed 102 which was about 40 years ago.

That looks so good, I used to enjoy Chef salads, Between the roofers here and the thunderstorm it was not a good day, I hope you have a nice start to the new week.

Thanks, it was well worth the drive to the next town. Today I have balsamic chicken and a wedge salad, also very good.
