Has anyone tried resetting your social media passwords?

Already dozens of times this July I got the same email from Facebook and with the same code too. I'm assuming there's a data leak in there that hasn't been fixed. Meanwhile, I haven't logged into Facebook in a long time.

I ignore emails from Facebook, and only change passwords if I log in. I do the same thing with PayPal because I get scam emails saying they are from PayPal too. I don't trust emails.

Usually I ignore emails that come from sites that I've never logged in to, but if I get more than 10 times with the same sentence it's very annoying.

@shaggin what I get is a genuine email from Facebook and even if there is something that isn't genuine, it usually automatically goes to spam email.

I have never tried to reset my password. I do hope you can reset yours. Did you try to contact them.

after I checked I was still able to log in with my password and it seems someone is trying to change my password.

For years I never changed my password, after a few days of not responding to the code I no longer received emails like that again.
