Vacation in Lake George Ny

Saturday my husband, the kids and I set out in two different vehicles for our vacation in Lake George NY. At our very first stop (Burger King) the baby had a dirty diaper. I took her in to change her and saw there was no changing table so I went back out to my car to change her there and found I had locked my keys in my car. Thankfully it was cracked about 2 inches and my arms are skinny so I reached in and pushed the unlock button. I didn’t sleep well Saturday night but was glad the baby slept through the night in the pack and play. I never sleep well away from home. We had to make runs to Walmart twice but it’s awesome because it’s only 10 miles one way and usually to get to a Walmart it’s over 30 miles one way for me to shop there. There’s no wifi or cell service at the house so my kids have enjoyed these trips to stores. Today we went to a record store that was having a sale, went to the old court house museum, checked out vendors set up along Main Street, saw many beautiful artworks and my stepson went fishing. We got to see fireworks over the lake which was pretty neat although I’m not a fan of them. I’ve found 6 geocaches, did 5 stages on adventure labs and visited 3 little free libraries. We are having a great time and in the words of the baby while eating her nuggets and fries “Happy day”. Photo if it loads is of a chalkboard sign I saw someone drew when we went to Starbucks.
