First, I'd like to welcome you to Mylot. I hope you enjoy it here!
I think if you take care of yourself, you will be better able to take care of the important people in your life. Sometimes, that doesn't always happen, of course, but it's a good idea to make an effort.

That is not really always true, I think. (Love yourself first before give your love and care to other.)
We can love another person, without loving ourselves first.
When we pour out love for another, it might eventually lead us to loving ourselves too.
It is good to be able to love ourselves, but if we find that we cannot do that, do not let that stop us from trying to love anyone else too.

@MelthySow And yet, no man is an island.
We all need to support each other, and the energy of love is the best way for us to do so.
God loves all life, and his creation, and we should follow his lead, and love ourselves, as well as love others too.
God works both from within us, and from outside of us, through his creation, and through others too. God is more than just a supporting factor.
If we can love, we should try to be a beacon of love shining out to others, and this involves us sending love out to others, as well.
If we find that we can't love ourselves, because of how our life is, with all of our problems, we should still try to love others in our lives, as that brings us out from being stuck in these problems, and at least gets some love flowing out of us, and when it flows out, some will stay within us too, as we have inflamed it within us too, from this action of our loving others too.

@MelthySow Whilst, I would agree that all is energy, in one sense, I might argue that God is more than just being energy, on its own, too.
God is not just an energy source, but an equation of himself, but which is more than just being an equation too, but is a living formula, which manipulates, and uses energy, to create consciousness, as a field around that energy, which attaches itself then to souls, parts of himself, God, before entering into coalesced energy vehicles, called life.
Life then becomes a window into itself, so that understanding can then be consciously understood, acquired by all of creation, in time, as wisdom.

@innertalks God is energy, man is energy. Love is energy. Falling in love or loving is just action and reaction. The energy center is yourself as a magnetic field.
