Government Work and Classes Suspended Today

It was announced yesterday that government work was suspended. It was the President himself who gave the order due to Typhoon and transport strike. this is to ensure the safety of the public from the effects of the typhoon and to alleviate the efffects of the scheduled 72-hour transport strike.
In view of the forecasted inclement weather brought about by the typhoon and the transport strike in the Metro, work in government offices and classes in public schools were suspended through a memorandum circular and signed by the Executive Secretary.
However, there was no hard pouring of rain only gloomy whole day. Anyway, I was able to do a lot of things at work.

It has been raining for weeks now and there flooded places already but I am safe where I am now.
