The Pinole California Police Department answered a call from concerned residents who reported seeing many goats running on the streets on Saturday six days ago. The goats were rounded up by the police officers and they returned to their enclosure to the owner of the goats. One reason that the owner of the goats allowed the animals to run free on the streets may have due to the fact that the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) that they were replacing the goats with a flock of sheep to fight fires in that area. Hmm, things you do not hear about everyday, especially in California. They do know sheep are not brave right. Well some of them They get a bad name like chickens. Haha. Chickens are mean and tough as hell, they are old dinosaurs I mean. Anyway goats are crazy and I could see them fighting fires. They pee so much they could probably put out the fires that way. I make the bad jokes.

I like the jokes about the sheep and the goats since in the sitcom Sanford and Son, Fred Sanford's former next door neighbor Julio Fuentes had a goat named Chico as his pet.

@Deepizzaguy I do not remember that episode but that show was so funny. I always wonder if they made a show like that again would it do as well. Timing is a thing. Many say its so much harder now because so many people in game. I actually say so many people are crap maybe 90's I could see but now its easy to get back if you have something just descent. A lot of fake it to make it crap still going on. The true should have better odds, its never easy.

I guess sheep eat more brush than goats. I knew they helped kept the brush from reaching fire level danger, but who knew the goats would be fired in place of sheep?

That is what I am wondering why the goats are being replaced by sheep?

I guess the owner of the goats is protesting against BART not wanting to use the goats to eat the grass near his home anymore.

Good heavens, that's a lot of goats! I'm glad they were able to round them up and return them to the owner.
