I had this gogo scooter online not to long ago for sale and someone asked about it. I told them all that I knew and that it ran last time we used it. They said they were interested so I went to get it all together. I couldn't find the charger and told them I'll knock off $25 because of it and sent them a picture of what it looked like. It's the kind that goes to old CD players, computer etc. She said ok..they came and picked it up and we had small talk. Told her about the weight loss problem I'm in and so is she.
Then she messaged me late at night telling me that it didn't run, and I told her about the bar you have to move back by the wheel to let it move. She said she was going to tell everyone that I'm a scammer and a shi*y person at the weight loss center..
I told her to get on and blocked her.

Still can't believe we are going to the same center...she was probably just blowing smoke up my butt.
Yeah I'm good at doing that if a person is snotty.

Thanks and you're right, but even if I got something from marketplace and it didn't work (it's happen before) I would not text the person and threaten them...that just low and mean.

Some of the people that are online buying things are a pain in the tush. My personal favorite are those that say they are coming and never show up.

@hillhjill Don't worry. If she does start spreading rumors, you can always defend yourself. You have proof that you were honest with her, and you can even show people the text messages where she agreed to the sale. Stay calm and don't let her get to you. I believe you can get through this.

Some people are absolutely so awesome and then you have the others..if you have good stuff you can make buck, but I wouldn't have them come pick it up at your house.

She should have discussed it nicely with you, maybe brought it back the next day so you could show her how it works. When you tell someone that it worked the last time you used it, they should be aware that it might not work.

Yes very true, plus it's marketplace..your taking your chances as it states in the rules (as is)..but I would of gladly shown her how to use it after it was all charged.
