I really wanted to finish revising my thesis but when I started working on it, my brain got messy and I didn't know what to write. Any suggestions for me?

Welcome to myLot! I know how you feel. I've been there before. I suggest you to find a study buddy or join a study group. Working with someone else can help you stay focused and motivated. Ask for help from your advisor. He/she may be able to offer you some helpful advice or guidance. And, talk to your classmate, senior, and alumni. Sometimes, all you need is someone to talk to about your thesis. They may be able to give you advice, open your mind, and give you inspiration for your thesis. Good luck! I hope you can finish your thesis well.

Hi sir, actually the research topic of my thesis is not the original research topic that I am interested in. As a result of some problems related to my mental health, I almost dropped out on purpose, but my lecturer still supported me in completing my thesis. They helped to provide data to be processed and it was up to me what to do with it. I was in a hurry, so I just made my research without reading in depth. I am now confused about how to find novelty and phenomena in the research background.

@Elnishaa I still didn't get all the topic you wanted to write but i get a gist of your problem. From novelty just take a look from your research title and find in the internet who's writing the most close to your research. Then you find the difference like variables, methods, instruments and so on. For phenomena you only need to find data or a focus problem on your Y variable. If it's descriptive research you need to find the most happening on your main problem is. I need more input so i can give many insight to you.

It's been a long time since I had to do anything like that. Take a break. Have a cup of tea or something, and then come to it fresh.

I m not that expert in thesis. but I have done practical research in school. teacher said to us to understand it better. Start with what you know like example in CHapter 1. you only know half of it. just go in it. and do Chapter 2. and its the same. and then if you are done just go back in those you didn't done. because you dont know it. and since the thesis is done its all connected. its like fill in the blanks
