A flying horse? I'd like to see that!

The image doesn’t have much to do with the text apart from a horse being involved. The photo shows three riders heading towards Vince. The horses have to step over the railway lines but there is no danger of meeting a train as the line isn’t used any more.
There was a sad news item where a light plane taking off from an airstrip on a farm struck a horse which had to be euthanised. Neither of the men in the plane were hurt badly. But a sentence in the news report bears repeating. It read: The animal was struck by the plane as it was taking off at Brentwood. I’d quite like to see a flying horse!
Once, you could rely on certain papers to get their grammar and syntax correct but those days are long gone.

@JudyEv It's a mess when any larger animal gets hit. Deer can destroy a car

I guess they do a bit of flying when they are in the air over the jumps.

Even our national news stories have some quite bad errors in them from time to time.

Sorry to hear about the horse, regardless of the syntax. Nice photo. Enjoy your day.

How can they make such a mistake? Do you think they did it on purpose to catch attention?
