We had friends around the other evening for a small celebration for my birthday. We had been at an endurance ride overnight so we had takeaway pizza and I made an apple sponge affair which we enjoyed with custard and cream.
Both couples are from the village and one couple we known for around 30 years. They now live about ten doors up from our house. They were kind enough to give me this little plant which is just about to flower plus two small tubes of hand lotion.
On Friday, we go away to house-sit for nearly three weeks but I might just take the little plant with me rather than leave it to take its chance outdoors. I can’t wait to see it flower.

What plant is that? I'd love to see a photo of the plant when it blooms.

@JudyEv The Kalanchoe laciniata(L.)DC belongs to sedum family-crassulaceae.

@changjiangzhibin89 Thanks for that as I've been saying I thought it was of the kalanchoe family.
