1 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. It needed to work together like a well-oiled machine and did. I'm thankful for getting up this morning when I did. I got my Bible study and the notifications done early. My games gave me trouble because the site was updating, so I didn't get much done there, but I tried. I'm thankful I left for Bible study when I wanted to leave. I needed to stop at Walgreens on the way to pick up medication. I'm thankful for the shopping I did after Bible study. I always go to Hy-Vee after Bible study, however, today is the first of the month so my insurance card was active with the new balance and I needed a few things. Though, I forgot the bananas. I'll get them tomorrow. I'm thankful I had an hour at home before I left again. The first Tuesday of the month is always busy. Next month will be even busier than today as my next hospital appointment is also on the first Tuesday. I'm thankful for the Writer's Guild meeting tonight. I read more of my book, Guns of War, and got more wonderful feedback, things I didn't think about when I wrote it. I'll address that in the coming days. Guns of War is an unfinished novel. One I've also been working on to finish. Okay, that's my day. A bit hectic, but wonderful in every way. I'm glad I got the notifications done at least once today. Now, looking at the time, I need to go to bed. It's another busy day tomorrow. I have exercise, a hair appointment, and rock painting in that order. What are you thankful for today?
