On Tuesday August 1st I visited the Company that produce polished wood cutting for wooden interior.
At 7.45 we already arrived on the location and see many hardworking people already started their day. Man and woman working as they described to and do as detailed as possible to make their product required.
By my job here today is for counting stock they have. This year is different from last year. The wooden board are piled up high almost like to fall apart. The warehouse manager said because thei changed their wood type from hull wood to pine wood, they need to decrease the water and oil absorbed first for 8-10 days. That's why the stock piled up so many.
My work areas of checking are block 25 to blok 41 and devided to 2 groups. We managed to finish for 5 hours needed. It took a lot of time since we need someone to climbed the pile of wood block they have stocked.
This year is harder to check beside one of the reason I mentioned before, then the wood arrangement are a little bit more narrowed. I got trouble to got myself inside between blocks.
After lunch we sighting for additional wood cutter that the company bought for this period. A brand new wood cutter that can cut the timber with high precise in a matter of seconds. The photo I added is the place where they cut the timber off. Beside the machine can cut the timber easy, the sawdust are collected automatically. They said they need it for adhesive components or other necessity.
We wraped up the work at 3.25 pm and hurriedly wen home to relieved a fatigue after walking around non stop.
Thank you guys for reading my post that I shared. I hope you have a wonderful day.

I don't blame your footies for being tired. That sounds like a LONG day walking around. I wouldn't like it, either.
Did you get to climb the stacks of wood? I wouldn't like that or trying to go down narrow aisles between tall stacks of wood. The wood might fall and I'd be stuck under it.
I hope you enjoy your evening.

I can't risk myself to climb up the stacks of wood because I am honestly overweighed and I'm afraid my when I climbed the wood will snap. And you're right. the stacks not so neat compared last year visit. I feel like the wood will fall on me accidently. My heart got goosebumps If it got to fall and trap under the wood ruble..
One of the women worker that counting with me almost got a wood block fall to her. She accidently nudged a wood than it fall almost hit her toe. I can't imagined if it hit her when I was there.

@grantward7 Most people in the US are overweight after the pandemic... I gained 30 lbs/about 16 kg in one year.
I'm glad your co-worker didn't get hurt! Seeing the wood almost hit her would scare me, too.

Yeah, I'm afraid on climbing with my own weight but if I climb to the top of palm oil tank (around 82ft max) and palm oil refinery (max 213.3 ft) I would not hesitate to go.
I'm not really afraid of heights as long we can climb it safely.
