In Calcutta many people are getting infected with conjunctivitis. It is a disease of the eyes. Eyes become red after some time. It lasts for 3 days and causes a lot of irritation. As germs cause them regular interaction with patients adds the disease.

I wonder why is this happening. My cousins also tell me the same. It’s been almost one year that I’ve left Kolkata. But I still miss us dearly. Hope everyone gets well.

It seems like it has become an epidemic in many places in India at present. Many people in Delhi and NCR region are also getting infected by conjunctivitis.

yes Arunimaji it is a pity in the private companies employees are compelled to come with the disease. They fear cutting of salary and work with sore eyes

@sathviksouvik That's unfortunate! Even my daughter's hostel, few students have got the infection. It's highly contagious and spreads in no time.
