Hello everyone! so it is now august 6, 2023. and in august 14 will be my dad's birthday. and I dont have something to give to him because I don't have money to give him something, and a letter card is kinda embarrassing because at this age it is like weird to give him some kid gift like that.
So what you think I should gift to him?

I hope your dad has a happy birthday.
Yeah, I can see how giving him a kid-card would be embarrassing... It's funny to think of you making a card for him, though. I want to tease you but I guess I won't.
Hmm... I don't know what your dad likes that you can do without spending money... You could ask your mom if there's something you could do and then she could tell your dad you did it for his birthday present. That wouldn't cost money and your dad would be happy you did it.

@DevMrSamEleazar You're welcome.
I can't help it... You're too fun so I like teasing you.
Oh, I see... Then you'll have to figure out what he needs done and he might not realize that you did it as a present for him.

Sam, one of the best gifts my kids would give me sometimes was strange and different. And no, it wasn't something wrapped in pretty paper or something that cost money.
I would get a card, yes, a card. When they were really young, it was a homemade card (I confess to having a few of those put away, good memories.) They would do the usual Birthday greetings, and then write down my gift--and they were weird and wonderful gifts. Offers of scrubbing all pots and pans for a week. Doing all the laundry and folding it and putting it away. Babysitting for a younger sibling so I could go somewhere. An offer of giving me a ''day off'' from any housework or carpooling duties, just a day to do whatever I wanted to do. Another offer of cleaning the bathrooms thoroughly once a week for a month. An offer to pull weeds in the garden.
There is no doubt some things you can think of that would apply to your Dad's birthday. Just think it over. Might be one of the best gifts he ever received!

I think that would be wonderful, Sam. They want you to be successful in whatever you do, and that is proof that you are trying as hard as you can try. I was always extremely proud of my children's successes in their schoolwork. You seem to really like school, that is wonderful.
My son was very ill all week, again (or rather, still) so it has been a hard week. Last night he finally slept, so I did, too. I am hopeful for an easier week.
I don't know the date of your Dad's birthday, but I do know you and your family will do all you can to celebrate him. Just write him a note, tell him how much you appreciate all that he does for you, and that he is a good father. I bet he would simply treasure such a note, and keep it forever. I would.

that is a great thing to do. but idk what I could do. because non of those things my dad do. its all my mom, and idk if it is a good gift but.
tomorrow my grading card will be distributed. so I am thinking if those are atleast A or A+ or maybe B and B+. I will do that as a gift of studying hard?
because that is what they want good grade. what you think of that?
Thank you for the tip.

If u have flowers in ur house or in ur friend's house, give him flowers in a vase and decorate the flowers prettily.
If u can cook, learn how to bake a cake, or any other dish u guys usually eat in birthday. Cook it urself, he will be very happy.
If u can draw, and he has an old shirt or t-shirt he does not wear, draw something, and show him.
Bro there are infinite things u can do without spending money.
Or if u are not sure, just help ur mother or family in preparing for his birthday. Maybe just decorate the table or the cake top.
And also may he have a great birthday!

well you got some good ideas. but sadly we dont have those, no flowers here or anywhere near. its mostly grass, and no cake ingredients. and yea.
but I did found a gift for him tho. I got my report card and I got some 90+ in grades so I guess it will be a fine gift. to show that I study hard.
Thank you I will tell that
