A PERSON HAS TO EAT!

For some reason, it seems we end up eating at Big Louie's a couple of times a month for either a 5 top pizza or a main course from their lunch menu. Is it because of their garlic rolls or because whatever we order is good, filling and the price is right? In any case the other week we went and Allen had their Chicken Francese with Ziti and a salad while I had the Pasta Fagoli soup and a dish of Sausage & Peppers with pasta we didn't leave a drop of food anywhere! Another day we went to Quarterdeck because I had received a BOGO for rejoining their reward club. We both had the Jambalaya, which is some of the best in Fort Lauderdale and they certainly aren't stingy with the portions. We don't often go to Lester's Diner since we aren't going to Miami to see any of the Broadway touring shows but we were going to try another place around the corner from them but it turned out to be a truck place that wasn't open so off we went to Lester's! Allen had the meatloaf dinner while I had the stir fry Shrimp and for dessert I had a slice of carrot cake that tastes as good as it looks--see the top picture on the right--DELICIOUS! Then there was the day I was treating myself to a movie and decided beforehand to have a 'bite' beforehand since I had some time before the movie started so I went to Subway and had the 12" Turkey sub and a soda which is what I usually order there as having it on the herb garlic bread gives it that extra 'kick'. Now on to a few other restaurants--plus I am doing a search to see where I want to celebrate my 22nd Leap Year birthday dinners on Thursday, February 29, 2024!
