My son has been a disobedient child these days.

He was a lovable kid in childhood. But God knows what has happened to him now. I have consulted a psychiatrist friend of mine here, and she says it happens with the kids at this age, he will be fine after a few years. I am waiting for things to get well for me. Picture of my son.

Your son must be in his adolescence which is the most difficult phase in a child's life You need to be patient

Yes it is but when I compare other kids with my sone , of the same age group I find my son to be more naughty than others.

@sjvg1976 Not fair that you compare him to others. His environment may not be the same as those of other kids You need to analyse the environment

I am sorry, but I know there is a time when teenagers are not very good. Be patient.

How old is he? My son is 19 now and thank goodness so far he has never given me a headache and he has never been disobedient.

I am 20 now. I was a little like that during my high school before covid. Don't worry he will be fine. Maybe trying to match vibes with his friends haha. Don't know but kids these days are so different.

There could be a lot of factors. Between 6th class and 10th class, things change rapidly. Friends and the Teaching atmosphere in school and changes in body make an impact. At times, things can cause a bad influence. Plus non-fulfillment of inner wishes too can impact. In some ways, there are certain challenges which I too am facing. And yes, there is always the "Generational Gap" factor.

It's not easy to handle the growing kids. Teenagers are not easy to deal with.

@sjvg1976 Its just the age, they usually come around after there 20 years old, just be firm and control as much as you can while he is still young

Oh dear, sounds like the terrible teens. It can be a really turbulent time for both the kids and their parents. I sympathise with your plight.

It is part of growing up. He is in an age when he is neither a child nor an adult. We need to put up with children as they pass through such stages in life.

I’m sorry your son is having problems. Young teenagers going through puberty have a lot on their minds. Hopefully your son will be all right.
