A 5am business meeting, seriously? / myLot

We are not from different countries. We are even living in the same city. But we started our business meeting as early as 5am this morning. We might be too excited. We are planning to open a small shop at one of the biggest malls here in the city on August 16th and we had been discussing about our inventory. It's exciting. My crochet hobby is now turning into a serious business. We also plan to organize seminars, selling kits and teaching a group of people to crochet. Our targets are private corporations so we could be compensated well. Lilli already made a module. I'm crossing my fingers that this business venture would be a success.

I really pray it would. I would be happy to crochet more items. Crouching makes me happy. The monetary value is secondary but would be great too if I could earn from it.

@AmbiePam Yeah but I am not alone in this business. So there's a lot of competition. But I really don't mind.

Never realized that you were getting serious about your crocheting and now it seems like it is becoming not only you passion but will become part of your income-generating activity. I think that is just right to make it part of your living and not just a hobby. I wish you success in your venture doing that.

@toniganzon Well that would need a lot of logistics when you finally make it your business. But for as long as you are enjoying it, I guess everything will not be stressful to you and I think you are a team that will be assigned of their own tasks so you can focus where you are good.

@rsa101 What do you mean by logistics. I don't think we need logistics because it is situated inside the mall. I don't sell at shopee nor Lazada.

Thank you. I crochet everyday for more than one year now. I feel like I would go crazy if I couldn't crochet in a day. I still consider it just as a hobby. I don't want to be pressure or stressed by the business.

Thanks. I have somehow been profiting from it for over a year now coz people would usually message me to buy my work. So I have been buying yarns and hooks from what I earned.

@toniganzon Have you created a business site on eBay or Etsy? Those are great websites to sell your items. There was a guy who used to be here on myLot years ago that crochet and knitted items, and I would buy things from his Etsy site for my kids.
