What did you have for dinner last night?

After swimming yesterday, I decided it was time for some fresh veggies with dinner. No, I didn't go buy fresh veggies. I went and got a foot long Subway ham and cheese sandwich (toasted) with everything on it.
It was tasty, and I have been grazing on the second half this morning.
How is your Saturday shaping up? I am off to Guitar Center pretty soon.
And of course, what did you have for dinner last night? Do they have Subways where you live?

Yes, there are Subway restaurants in Missouri. We have two $10 cards for them but Pretty really dislikes their sandwiches.
Last night was a long time ago.

I took the tuna mix from a "Snack on the Run" by Bumble Bee, made a sandwich of it and had that for dinner. A big can of tuna probably costs less, but I don't have a way to save half a can so I end up with two sandwiches, sorry, hate to waste food. Even the smaller can in Lunch to Go still makes more than I want, and you have to mix it up and that means I have to throw out the 'lite' mayo they provide and use real mayo... oh, man, and there's that stupid corn allergy again...
We have Subways near by, but I don't eat there. Whole lot of reasons, but a part is that I hate 95% of the veggies they put on them. Raw onions don't like me, neither do hollow peppers - looking up the veggies and they call those capsicum. I don't think carrots or cucumbers belong on a sandwich, unless you are having a tea sandwich which is just cucumbers. I suppose spinach, since it is raw, would be fine, but they don't list tomatoes, which is really the only thing I really like on a sandwich or a burger. I would hope they put a oil and vinegar dressing on their sandwiches but I half guess it is mayo, which I only think belong in making tuna, chicken or egg salad to put on a sandwich.
Picky, picky, picky... yeah, I know.

Oh, how I miss those Subway subs but there are plenty of pizza places around here that make very good Italian subs, I guess once the blazing heat passes I will go and get myself a sub. Our nearest Subway is too far away and delivery is too expensive. I wrote up some articles to post and the day just flew by, I had a pork patty and some scoops of cottage cheese.

@TheHorse I eat a lot of it because it is great in hot weather and I can even spice it up and put on Sweet Thai sauce which a great way to eat it,

I nuked a potato from my garden, also had a bunch of cherry tomatoes from my garden, and jello for desert. As for Saturday, it's raining lightly and thundering quietly.

Food! It was BBQ chicken and a nuked potato, and it tasted just fine, thank you.
Subways are usually my “emergency go-to” place when I’m on vacation.

I wanted something easy and something that would lead to leftovers, so we ordered Chinese.
We had chicken chop suey with bean sprouts as well as beef and broccoli, they did an amazing job on both, but there are a couple of days' worth of leftovers still.

We do have a Subway nearby but I haven't had a foot long in awhile.
We had breakfast for dinner last night. Homemade waffles with breakfast sausages. It was a nice change

Glad that you enjoyed it and you could graze on the leftover for breakfast. We have a Subway in the neighborhood but I never visited it. My daughter once went with her friends.
It's past 10 here. Saturday is coming to an end. Felt low on energy and so kept it slow and relaxed. Will watch some TV along with mylotting till I feel sleepy. I slept for more than two hours in the afternoon, so I don't see sleep coming any soon.

@TheHorse I fell asleep around 1:30 AM and woke up at 7:30. It was uninterrupted sleep. Today I didn't take an afternoon nap. I want to go early to bed. Tomorrow is a working day.

Yes we have Subways here. Four Walls had a Subway sandwich when she came and visited me. I had chicken planks and coleslaw last night. Have a good day.

Well, this post is from yesterday, so I should be posting what I ate Friday night, I guess. But I honestly don't remember--I think I had a baked chicken thigh and broccoli, but the days have been wild so I won't swear to that. Last night I made a big, crunchy salad, added all the good stuff I could find including homegrown tomatoes. I had one chunk of salmon so I put that on it as well. It was so good. I was hungry for salad.
We have so many Subway's it is just ridiculous. I honestly have no idea how many--they slap them up in all the Walmart's, some of the big truck stops, and of course free standing ones as well.
