Normally I do not share crime stories on this site since it is heartbreaking for me to share stories that do not have a happy ending. But in this case this story does have a semi happy ending since a New York State Police (NYSP) officer who did not give out his name answered an emergency call from a crime victim who had their car stolen at the Waterloo Premium Outlet in Junius on Sunday night on August 6. The NYSP officer did catch the two alleged car thieves who are Charles Donato of Fleming and Jay L Garrigan Junior of Auburn were taken into custody on charges of criminal possession of stolen property. What makes this a good news story is that a male dog named Glenn who had been inside of the stolen auto was returned to his owner in good health. It is only children that are victims of criminals that steal autos these days. Now animals are also victims of auto thieves these days. Link is abc3340.com/news/offbeat/p...

In my country, car thieves have become an every day piece of news. And what´s worse, some times there is a baby inside the car. People leave the baby in the car while taking their other child to school and in those few minutes the car and the baby disappear. I´m glad that your story ended well.
